W imieniu Komitetu Organizacyjnego i Naukowego Katedry Zdrowia Publicznego WPiNoZ UM w Lublinie oraz Kół Naukowych funkcjonujących przy Katedrze Zdrowia Publicznego, Pracowni Kosmetologii i Medycyny Estetycznej i Zakładzie Dietetyki Klinicznej WPiNoZ UM w Lublinie serdecznie zapraszamy do wzięcia udziału w I Konferencji Naukowo-Szkoleniowej Lubelskie Dni Promujące Zdrowie
pt.
„Współczesny człowiek wobec zdrowia i piękna”,  która odbędzie się dnia 3 czerwca 2013 roku w Auli Collegium Uniwersum przy ul. Chodźki 1 w Lublinie.
Konferencja jest wydarzeniem naukowo-szkoleniowym, zrzeszającym specjalistów z dziedziny zdrowia publicznego, medycyny, kosmetologii, dietetyki i nauk pokrewnych zajmujących się aspektem zdrowotnym społeczeństwa, jak również działaniami upiększającymi ludzkie ciało.
Celem konferencji jest stworzenie interdyscyplinarnego forum wymiany poglądów dotyczących związku piękna ze zdrowiem oraz upowszechnienie wiedzy z zakresu zdrowia publicznego, kosmetologii, dietetyki  i nauk pokrewnych a także wymiana doświadczeń w tym zakresie, jak również poszerzenie dotychczasowych horyzontów naukowych i badawczych.
Podczas konferencji przedstawimy nowe i interesujące zagadnienia z dziedziny zdrowia publicznego i kosmetologii. Zapewniamy wysoki poziom merytoryczny i organizacyjny Konferencji.

Elective Course in Oncology for Medical Students

With the key goal of encouraging medical students to specialise in an oncology related discipline, ECCO – the European CanCer Organisation is organising two Elective Courses in Oncology for Medical Students. The courses provide insight into all aspects of oncology with both theoretical and practical sessions.

The courses are open to students who have completed their fourth year of studies at the time of the course. Students will be selected through a competitive application process. Successful candidates benefit from free registration and accommodation as well as a travel grant. Forty eight students will be selected for the two courses.

The courses have been designated for European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System Credits (ECTS).

The first course will take place in Antwerp (Belgium) from 8 to 19 July 2013 and the second course in Poznan (Poland) from 19 to 30 August 2013.

Applications can only be submitted electronically via the ECCO website between until 21 April 2013.

„Elective Course in Oncology for Medical Students”

On 09 - 20 July 2012 in Antwerp and 27 August - 07 September 2012 in Poznan are organized the „Elective Course in Oncology for Medical Students”.

ECCO is pleased to be the official organiser of these elective courses, an endeavour in line with our mission to be the driving European force in multidisciplinarity and multiprofessional oncology.
With the key goals of encouraging medical students to specialise in an oncology related discipline, these courses have proven highly successful as reflected by the positive and enthusiastic feedback received from former students since 2005.

Admission of the Polish language (besides English) during 1st Clinical Case Studies International Students' Conference, 25th-26th May, Lublin, Poland

The Organization Committee of the Medical Students' Research Association's conference 1st Clinical Case Studies International Students' Conference which will take place on May 25th-26th in Lublin, Poland, decided, that Polish language will be also accepted as the language of the presentation.

However, abstracts should be written only in English.
Before the Conference, partakers will decide, if they want to show their paper in Polish, or English.

If they choose Polish, as a language of the presentation, they will discuss the case with the Scientific Committee also in Polish.
If they choose English, they will be able to choose, if they want to discuss the case also in English, or in Polish.

We also emphasise, that both presenting and discussing the case in English will be promoted with additional points by the Scientific Committee, which can be relevant in the results of the session.

1st Clinical Case Studies International Students' Conference

Medical Students' Research Association of the Medical University of Lublin proudly presents: 

1st Clinical Case Studies International Students' Conference, 25th-26th May


You are invited to the Association’s two-day conference in Lublin. Submission to the Conference may be made via application form available at: http://stnlublin.blogspot.com/​p/rejestracja-prac.html. The Scientific Committee shall select 20 papers, considering general features of valuable case report paper. The reported case should be unique, rare or unusual. The case should add value to diagnosis or management. There should be a clear learning point. The selected papers will be presented on the first day of The Conference. All of the abstracts will be published in the abstract book (including those which won’t be presented). On the second day we will prepare for our participants workshops on: coniotomy (for the authors of the best clinical case studies), surgical sewing, fundoscopic examination etc.
